The uniqueness of the PumpDetect technical solution lies in its sensing technique.
Sensors are directly mounted on rotating machines (e.g., pumps) and, through the measurement of physical quantities and subsequent data processing, they can monitor the real-time condition of the machine and predict potential damage. At the same time, the sensors control the machine to operate at its most optimal working point, thereby saving electrical energy consumption.
The solution ensures the most efficient operation of the pump at all times.

PumpDetect Monitor sensors are directly mounted on rotating machines. In the development of IoT solutions, we faced two challenges. Firstly, how to measure multiple quantities while minimizing the device's power consumption. Secondly, how to transmit this data through IoT networks, which have limited data transmission capacity. The result is the use of processors and a unique power supply solution. Each module has its own processor that adjusts the data to minimize its size before transmission. The power supply of the sensors utilizes the energy from the electric motor of the machine itself.
Transmission module
is used for data transfer. ZigBee network, Bluetooth, Lora, GSM, and Ethernet can be used. Each module has an identical baseboard required for communication between units, allowing each unit to measure vibration and temperature.
Power module
primarily serves to power the entire sensor system and measure the current and frequency of the power supply voltage. This unit also has a basic module with the ability to measure vibration and temperature. The power and measurement device is non-invasively placed in the motor terminal box, and the cable is routed through the motor conduit, ensuring the IP protection of the machine without compromising it. This sensing does not interfere with the operation of the electric motor, including its warranty. This module also has the ability to accommodate any sensor with analog outputs (analog 0-5V, analog 4-20mA).
Sensor module
is ready to connect any standard sensor (pressure, flow meter, humidity sensor, etc.) with outputs (analog 0-5V, analog 4-20mA, I2C, SPI/SSI, UART). The modules are interconnected by a robust local bus, enabling the connection of a large number of sensors.
Subsequently, the data is sent to the PumpDetect Gateway communication module via a low-energy transmission system. Through a standard communication protocol (e.g., Modbus, BACnet), the data can be sent to the customer's supervisory system or control room without the need to transmit the data to the SPC platform. These data are then sent through a GSM network to the Cloud storage of the main SPC platform.
