SPIRAM COMPACT PUMPS WITH PRIMING SYSTEM
The special design of SPIRAM pumps with an automatically controlled priming system was developed to meet the market demand for compact and easily transportable sludge pumps. As it is essentially a centrifugal pump, it needs to be filled with the pumped medium before the pump can be started. For this purpose, a priming system was designed, consisting of a disc valve, a check valve, an electromagnetic valve, and a priming tank with a pressure conductivity probe. The priming and pumping processes are automatically controlled through a logical system, which signals the presence of the pumped media during the priming process, subsequently terminates the priming process, and initiates the pumping process. The operator's role is only to turn the unit on and off using the control elements on the control box. Innovative technical solutions applied to the described pumping unit ensure its high level of reliability along with minimal maintenance requirements for the equipment.
